Trans African International Film Festival Set to Showcase Diverse Stories and Talent from Across the Continent

Maiduguri, Nigeria, 2nd April 2024 – The inaugural Trans African International Film Festival is gearing up to bring together filmmakers, industry professionals, and film enthusiasts for a celebration of African cinema and storytelling. Scheduled to take place from 26th to 30th November 2024 in Maiduguri, Borno State, Nigeria. The festival promises to showcase a diverse array of films, talent, and perspectives from across the continent.


With a mission to amplify African voices and narratives, the Trans African International Film Festival aims to create a platform for filmmakers to share their stories, connect with audiences, and celebrate the richness and diversity of African cinema. The festival will feature a curated selection of films, ranging from feature-length dramas to short documentaries, highlighting the creativity, innovation, and talent present in the African film industry.
